Kenoteq

PROJECT OVERVIEW

THE PRODUCT

Together with the founders of Kenoteq, the team produced a digital experience for the companies launch at COP26. Assets included reportage photography, 3D graphics for the Kbriq – a world first, unfired 90% recycled construction brick – and UI/UX design. At COP26 Kenoteq presented the KBriq through a custom-designed wall at the entrance to Construction Scotland Innovation Centre.

THE PROBLEM

The construction industry is facing a critical challenge of environmental sustainability due to the excessive use of energy-intensive and resource-depleting building materials. The production and utilization of conventional fired bricks are contributing significantly to carbon emissions and resource depletion. As a result, there is an urgent need to develop alternative construction materials that are environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and sustainable without compromising structural integrity and functionality.

THE GOAL

The goal of the project is to introduce and promote the KBriq, an innovative, unfired construction brick developed by Kenoteq, as a groundbreaking solution to address the environmental impact of traditional building materials. By utilising 90% recycled materials and minimising energy consumption in its production process, the KBriq aims to significantly reduce carbon emissions and contribute to sustainable construction practices.

THE AUDIENCE

Attendees of COP26 (Conference of the Parties), including policymakers, environmental activists, architects, builders, and stakeholders in the construction and sustainability sectors.
