THE PRODUCT

I collaborated with non-profit Protect Our Winters to provide sustainability communications and create a marketing strategy for its climate champions — those who seek to inspire and forge a carbon-neutral society, turning their passion into action. This work culminated in a launch at ISPO 2020 in Munich, including all presentation materials about how to get involved.

THE PROBLEM

Protect Our Winters (POW), a non-profit organisation focused on addressing climate change, needed an effective strategy to communicate sustainability messages and create a marketing plan for their climate champions. The challenge was to inspire and mobilise individuals who were passionate about combating climate change to take concrete actions towards a carbon-neutral society.

THE GOAL

The goal was to collaborate with Protect Our Winters (POW) to develop impactful sustainability communications and a marketing strategy, empowering climate champions to take action towards a carbon-neutral society. This culminated in a launch at ISPO 2020 in Munich, presenting materials that inspired and guided individuals on how to get involved effectively.

THE AUDIENCE

Individuals passionate about climate change and sustainability, activists, influencers, environmental organisations, potential partners, and attendees of events like ISPO (International Sports Business Exhibition and Conference) interested in climate action.

SITUATION

Produce a new European-wide strategy and brand experience for the non-profit organisation that champions turning passionate skiers and snowboarders into climate activists.

TASK

EU strategy and a highly impactful but low carbon footprint stand activation at ISPO2020.

ACTION

We collaborated with non-profit Protect Our Winters to create a new European strategy and brand plan for climate champions and created a campaign (UX, UI and CX) ‘Turn Passion Into Action’ to launch this key brand moment at ISPO 2020 in Munich, Germany.

RESULT

Brand contribution and customer loyalty, which in turn increased referral to peers and partners within the action sports industries.
